<image:title>About - Program Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>Shuckleberries Playschool is a child-led, play-based open air program where we believe learning should be fun! Based on scientifically proven brain science we know how much children learn through play. The teachers carefully plan out materials & opportunities for hands-on exploration, discovery, and play. Using these methods we are able to nurture early math skills, develop fine motor skills, begin early writing, develop letter and word recognition, and prepare the children for higher learning settings. We place an emphasis on the process of learning over the product, appreciating the amazing learning and skills that are being built where the child is at. We love to do fun art projects, listen to all genres of music, read great books, do messy sensory activities, and lots of cool science.</image:caption>

<image:title>FAQ's - FAQ’s</image:title>
<image:caption>FAQ’s Are meals/snacks included? Shuckleberries is a part of the Child Nutrition Program of Southern California and gets reimbursed for any meals and snacks served. Morning snack is served at 10am and usually consists of fruit & crackers, lunch is served at 12pm. Since MS Kat loves to cook, meals consist of typical children cuisine to different foods and flavors from around the world. Afternoon snack is served after nap before the child is picked up Does my child have to be potty trained? No, your child does not have to be potty trained and we will help with the process of potty training. We believe in meeting each child where they are, and there is no magic age that potty training happens. We ask that you provide diapers and back up clothes in case of any accidents What if my child misses a day due to illness/vacation? Do I still have to pay? Shuckleberries tuition is based on the days the child is enrolled, regardless if the child attends or not.</image:caption>
